Baltimore, Md - Nov. 28, 2016:

The Pikesville Precinct has experienced a home invasion robbery and an attempted burglary in the Milbrook Park Apartment complex between 11/10/2016 to 11/19/2016.  The first incident occurred on 11/10/16 around 05:30am, the suspect was described as a black male 45 to 50 years of age, 5’7” in height, and approximately 175 pounds who was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, a red t-shirt, dark blue jeans and carrying a black book bag.  The suspect entered the apartment uninvited and confronted the victim. The victim told the suspect to leave. The suspect then stated he was the building maintenance man but, then advised he had a gun and needed money. The victim was able to run out of his apartment and call 911.  The second incident occurred in the 6900 block of Marsue Drive.  At 7:25 pm on 11/19/2016, a suspect with a similar description to the first incident, began to bang on the sliding glass door and demanded money while pulling on the sliding glass door handle. The victim told the suspect they were calling the police at which time the suspect fled the location.  Please be aware of your surroundings, always lock your doors and look out of the peep hole before opening the door.  Do not open the door for strangers and please call 911 if suspicious subjects are observed in the area.    

UPDATE- On 11/27/16 at 7:25 am a suspect with a similar description entered an apartment in the 6900 block of Marsue Drive by climbing on an air conditioning unit to gain access to a second floor apartment with an unlocked sliding door. The suspect was described as a black male in his 40’s, 5’08”, approximately 180 pounds, wearing a black knit hat, grey jacket with dark colored sleeves, fingerless gloves and black pants. The suspect entered the residence and removed money from a purse and a jar by the front door. The victim also described the suspect as having “crystalized eyes”.

Please be vigilant of suspicious subjects or vehicles roaming through the neighborhood.   If you notice any suspicious activity, safely get a good description of the subjects or vehicles (including license plates) and immediately contact 911.  We offer Free Home Security Surveys, where a uniformed officer will respond to your home and give you suggestions on ways to make your home more secure.
