Baltimore County Police are investigating after a man was shot inside a Pikesville hotel.
 
At 2 p.m. on November 25, Baltimore County Police responded to an area hospital for a man that had come to the facility with a gunshot wound.
 
The initial investigation into the incident has indicated that on November 24 at approximately 11:30 p.m., the victim was in a room at the Ramada Inn in the 1700 block of Reisterstown Road 21208 with a friend. His friend was supposed to meet someone there. When the person came to the room and found the victim there, he shot the victim once in the lower body and fled the scene.
 
The victim is expected to survive.
 
This incident is under investigation by the Baltimore County Police Department Violent Crimes Unit.
