Baltimore, MD - Nov. 18, 2015 - The monthly meeting of the Baltimore Holocaust Survivors and Descendants Group took place on Sunday, November 15 at the Park Heights JCC.

About twenty members of the group listen to guest speaker Nancy Lefenfeld’s address the topic: To Save a Life: Jewish Humanitarian Resistance in France During the Shoah.

The lecture focused on the clandestine and illegal actions undertaken in German-occupied France by Jews and non-Jews to save Jewish lives. Ms.Lefenfeld, is the author of The Fate of Others: Rescuing Jewish Children on the French-Swiss Border which highlights a team of young Jewish men and women, who smuggled 24 convoys of Jewish children from France into Switzerland in the Fall of 1943.
