At least 10 passengers being treated for shock as EL AL aircraft prepares for emergency landing at Ben Gurion Airport.
Tel Aviv - A plane with 182 passengers and crew on board will need to perform an emergency landing shortly at Ben Gurion Airport, after one of its wheels exploded on take-off on Thursday evening.
The “UP” plane, flown as an El Al subsidiary, was on its way to Kiev, Ukraine, when the incident occurred.
Emergency crews have gathered on the tarmac at Tel Aviv’s major international airport, with the plane expected to land before midnight having first dumped its fuel at sea.
