Two people were killed in a plane crash in southern Israel Tuesday morning.
The incident occurred just outside of Kibbutz Mishmar Hanegev shortly before noon Tuesday, when a light plane crashed.
Emergency first responders were called to the scene to treat the victims.

Two men were pulled from the crash site, and were treated for their injuries. Both were said to be in critical condition, before being declared dead.
"At 11:32 a.m. the MDA emergency 101 call center received a report of a plane which had crashed near Mishmar Hanegev," MDA said in a statement.

Gov. Larry Hogan on Monday announced Maryland State Police will lead a statewide effort to enforce executive orders related to the coronavirus.
"I know that there is growing frustration that we are still fighting this virus and many people are struggling emotionally and financially," Hogan said. "But following the public health directives is the only way we will be able to stop this virus, to keep Maryland open for business, to keep hospitals from overflowing."
Last week, Hogan issued a slew of new orders limiting occupancy at establishments, curtailing hospital and nursing home visits, and forcing food service establishments to close early.

The Trump administration is close to declaring that 89 Chinese aerospace and other companies have military ties, restricting them from buying a range of U.S. goods and technology, according to a draft copy of the list seen by Reuters.

The General Services Administration has informed President-elect Joe Biden and his team that the Trump administration is ready to begin the transition process.

The governor's stricter restrictions for visitations at hospitals and nursing homes, and new actions for restaurants and retail took effect at 5 p.m. Friday. Many local jurisdictions went further with more restrictive rules, including Anne Arundel County, Baltimore City, Baltimore County, Harford County and Howard County.

Michigan’s state Board of Canvassers certified the vote with three yes votes and one abstention, a bipartisan decision affirming Biden’s victory over Trump by more than 155,000 votes.
The typically routine exercise took on new significance this year after Trump and his allies pressured the board’s two Republicans to reject certification and seek a delay in order to investigate “irregularities” in Detroit’s vote counting — allegations that are not supported by any evidence of wrongdoing. Republicans have also pushed officials in other states to delay certification and have challenged the election results in court, mostly resulting in a string of legal losses.
