The release of the third group of Israeli hostages from Hamas captivity is underway.
The Prime Minister's office has confirmed that 13 Israeli citizens who were taken hostage by Hamas on October 7th have returned to Israel.
According to the IDF, Red Cross representatives transferred 12 hostages over to IDF special forces and ISA forces adjacent to the border fence in the central Gaza Strip. From there, they made their way to the Hatzerim Base.
An additional released hostage who returned to Israel, 84-year-old Elma Avraham, is in serious condition and was evacuated via a helicopter directly to a hospital.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu visited troops in the northern Gaza Strip today amid the ongoing truce with Hamas, for the first time since the start of the war.
“We are making every effort to return our hostages, and eventually we will return them all,” says Netanyahu in a video released by his office.

Israeli sources say that Hamas has handed over the group of 13 hostages scheduled for release on Sunday to the Red Cross ahead of their exit from the Gaza Strip.
An Israeli senior official told Israeli media on Sunday that "no delay is expected today in the release of the third group of abductees". This, after the release of the hostages was delayed yesterday by Hamas, claiming that Israel did not meet the conditions of the ceasefire.

Defense Minister Yoav Gallant entered the Gaza Strip on Saturday, where he met with various IDF units.
Gallant, who is the first Israeli Defense Minister to enter Gaza since the disengagement in 2005, said "We will not leave Gaza until all the captives are returned. We will seize the opportunity to bring additional captives; every exchange negotiation will be under fire," said Galant.

A homicide investigation is underway after a body was found in the Inner Harbor in Baltimore, according to the Baltimore City Police Department.
The department says at around 1:40 pm, officers were called to the area of the 700 block of Aliceanna Street to investigate a body that was discovered in the harbor.
Police found the body of a man but were unable to find any signs of trauma, said authorities.
The investigation was taken up by homicide detectives after they arrived. Upon receiving the body, the Medical Examiner's Office will conduct an autopsy in order to determine the cause of death and the individual's identity.
