Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) on Thursday signed a sweeping new election reform measure that would restrict access to the ballot box, the latest Republican-led effort to change election procedures sparked by former President Trump’s defeat six months ago.
DeSantis signed the legislation live on Fox News, shutting out local media who had planned to cover the ceremony. Florida Republicans passed the measure on near party-line votes over the objection of civil rights groups and over the opposition of all 67 of the state’s county supervisors of elections.

Early this morning, before getting up from shiva, Senator Chuck Schumer participated in a shiva visit to the home of Mr. & Mrs. Dovid and Tova Knoblowitz whose son Pinchos Menachem Z'L tragically lost his life in Meron last week.

The European Union on Thursday added Israel to the narrow list of states whose nationals will be able to travel to EU states as tourists.

A $30,000 reward is being offered in the shooting death of an Israeli man, killed while visiting Baltimore for a family wedding.
It comes as the city is seeing a spike in crime.
The reward being offered in the case is with help from the people in the very community where the victim was gunned down.
"I have seen a lot of footage, and it's just devastating to watch," said Baltimore City Councilman Isaac "Yitzy" Schleifer, D-District 5.
Ephraim Gordon, 31, was in Baltimore for his cousin's wedding when police said he was confronted by a group early Monday morning on Fords Lane in Park Heights.
