In the first Pasuk of Parshas Noach, there is a Rashi which calls out for deeper analysis and explanation. The famous Rashi, “B’Dorosav”, quotes conflicting opinions in Chazal as to what the pasuk means when it says that Noach was a Tzadik “in his generation”. One opinion is that Noach was a complete Tzadik. The other view is that Noach was only a Tzadik “B’Dorosav” – when compared to the Reshaim of his generation. This derogatory description even goes so far as to say “Had Noach lived in Avraham’s Dor, Lo Nechshav Klum- he wouldn’t have been recognized as an outstanding individual”. This Rashi raises several difficult issues.

Some Arab Knesset members quietly support Israel’s new agreements with the United Arab Emirates and Bahrain agreements, but were forced to vote against them and follow the Joint List leadership.
The Joint Arab List was alone in voting against the normalization deal with the United Arab Emirates in the Knesset, upsetting many Israeli Arabs that welcomed a move that is likely to become a key economic, education and tourism opportunity for the community.

Operations of headquarters run by military wing of terrorist organization
Palestinian terrorist organization Hamas has formed a secret base in Turkey from which it carries out cyberattacks against its enemies, British daily The Times reported on Friday.
The headquarters are situated in Istanbul and were established about two years ago, western intelligence sources told The Times.
The Gaza-ruling faction has another official building in Istanbul, which deals mainly with fundraising, but is separate from the secret base.
According to the report, the cyber headquarters were set up without the knowledge of the Turkish government and is run by Hamas’ military wing in Gaza.

Maryland is adding $250 million to a new coronavirus economic relief initiative for a total economic relief package of $500 million, Maryland Gov. Larry Hogan announced Thursday.
"This has been a very long and difficult year for all of us, but the only way we can continue to make progress is by all of us doing our part and looking out for one another," Hogan said.
Hogan: Key health metrics remain low, stable
The governor said the state is monitoring a slight uptick in hospitalizations over the past two weeks, but that new case numbers are low.

A 2017 email from a top official with a Chinese energy firm, provided by a whistleblower to U.S. Senate investigators, demonstrates the terms of an agreement included officials with the firm giving a $5 million non-secured, forgivable loan to the Biden “family.”
