BORO PARK (VINnews) — The NYPD has announced an arrest in the case of the multiple egg throwing attacks that plagued the Boro Park community as of late.
Police said that 18 year old Mohid Hoque who lives on Ave C in Brooklyn was charged with Hate Crime Assault (3 Counts), Hate Crime Aggravated Harassment (3 Counts),Hate Crime Harassment 1st (3 Counts), Hate Crime/Reckless Endangerment 2nd
The arrest was made by the NYPD Hate Crimes Task Force (HTCF), who have investigating these attacks since they occurred.

GAZA CITY (AP) – Gaza militants fired a barrage of rockets into Israel on Thursday, hours after a cease-fire was declared to end two days of intense fighting between Israel and the Islamic Jihad group, the heaviest escalation in months that killed at least 34 Palestinians, including three women and eight children, and paralyzed parts of Israel.
No one immediately claimed responsibility for the new wave of rockets and it wasn’t clear how this would affect the fate of the cease-fire.

A ceasefire between Israel and Gaza-based terrorist groups that went into effect early Thursday morning was immediately put to the test as five rockets from Gaza sent Israelis scrambling for shelter in the south.
The ceasefire comes after two days of intense rocket-fire from Gaza and retaliatory Israeli air strikes, and was reportedly brokered by Egypt. Israel and Islamic Jihad have reached a ceasefire agreement, according to an Egyptian source. The source told Israel's Kan news that the ceasefire took effect at 5:30 a.m.
Israel's Army Radio was also reporting the ceasefire, quoting sources in the Arab world.
