Defense Minister Yoav Gallant visited northern Gaza today (Thursday) and commented on the IDF's readiness to engage in an operation in Hamas' last stronghold in Rafah.
“We are closing in on Hamas. We are preparing to act in Rafah, as well as in the central camps, in order to reach the next stage which we will decide according to our priorities,” Gallant said.
He added, “We use the information we captured from the Hamas archives. There are huge amounts of information that we brought from the places we reached, computers, hard drives, servers and other things. All this information is decoded, it is used in order to destroy the tunnels and the nerve centers of Hamas."

New York Attorney General Letitia James said she is investigating the recent cell service outage that hit thousands of AT&T customers last week.
"Americans rely on cell service providers for consistent and reliable service to help them with nearly every aspect of their daily lives," James said. "Nationwide outages are not just an inconvenience, they can be dangerous, and it's critical that we protect consumers when an outage occurs."
James encouraged affected New Yorkers to file a complaint with her office. James said her office will investigate the causes of the outage as well as AT&T's response.

A survey conducted by the Anti-Defamation League's Anti-Semitism Research Center found that the number of Americans who hold antisemitic opinions has increased to 24 percent, a rise from 20 percent in 2022.
According to the data, 27 percent of Americans think it is acceptable, at least to some extent, for a close family member to support Hamas, and 24 percent of Americans have a friend or close family member who does not like Jews.
Overall, more than 42 percent of Americans have friends or family members who do not like Jews or who believe that it is socially acceptable for a close family member to support Hamas.

Two weeks ago, a New York judge ordered Donald Trump to pay a huge penalty of $355 million plus interest — a grand total of more than $450 million — after finding him liable for fraudulently inflating his wealth.
But now that it’s time to produce such an amount, Trump’s legal team is undercutting both his and their own claims about his ability to do so.
In a filing Wednesday, Trump’s lawyers asked for a delay and offered to post a bond of just $100 million rather than the full amount. A federal judge has blocked Texas from enforcing a new law that would make illegal immigration a state crime.
Federal judge David Ezra on Thursday granted a preliminary injunction that will block Texas' SB4 from taking effect next week. The law would allow state authorities to arrest and jail illegal immigrants, and would give state judges the power to order deportations.
In his ruling, the judge wrote that states "may not exercise immigration enforcement power except as authorized by the federal government."

The White House responded to the incident this morning (Thursday) in which dozens of Gazans were trampled as they swarmed trucks delivering humanitarian aid into the Gaza Strip.
Calling the trampling a "serious incident," the US National Security Council stated that “the loss of innocent life and recognize the dire humanitarian situation in Gaza, where innocent Palestinians are just trying to feed their families.”
It further stated that the incident “underscores the importance of expanding and sustaining the flow of humanitarian assistance into Gaza, including through a potential temporary ceasefire. We continue to work day and night to achieve that outcome.”

The IDF on Thursday reported that as aid trucks were brought into northern Gaza on Thursday morning, Gazan residents gathered around the trucks, acting violently and looting the supplies.
"Early this morning, during the entry of humanitarian aid trucks into the northern Gaza Strip, Gazan residents surrounded the trucks, and looted the supplies being delivered," the IDF confirmed. "During the incident, dozens of Gazans were injured as a result of pushing and trampling."

According to the reports, some of the masses neared the IDF troops in a dangerous fashion, threatening to harm the troops.

Two people were murdered in a terrorist shooting attack at a gas station at the entrance to Eli in Binyamin this afternoon (Thursday), Magen David Adom reported.
According to the initial reports, there were one or two terrorists armed with an M-16 assault rifle. The attacker or attackers were neutralized.
