I love the game of Ping Pong. Yes, I know it’s really called Table Tennis, but between you, me and the fly on the wall, no one calls it that. During a tournament, for example, one of my greatest motivations to win is because I fully understand that if I dare lose, I will have to suffer the terrible consequence of having to watch the next two opponents play. Let me tell you something about Ping Pong. In the realm of sports spectators, being a spectator of Ping Pong is by far the most painful.

In Moshe Rabeinu’s handling of the conflict with Korach, we see many of his greatest talents on display. Many of the P’sukim cry out for explanation and understanding of what our greatest teacher was thinking at that precise moment. Why does he respond to some challenges and not to others, why does he become angry at some provocations yet remain stoic in the face of a seemingly greater insult? When one closely examines the words and context of the P’sukim, it becomes very clear that Moshe Rabeinu was not only Ish Hashem and our greatest Navi, but a skilled therapist, advocate and psychologist as well.

Who doesn’t love a good argument? Whether as participant or spectator, for many there is a thrill in expressing opposing ideas and hearing the responses elicited. “Taking sides” is a natural human reaction when presented with a choice.
The Mishna in Pirkei Avot (5:17) teaches that:

Gov. Larry Hogan is weighing in on whether kids should be required to wear masks in schools, saying the virus is nearly extinguished here in Maryland, kids shouldn't have to wear masks, and should not have to social distance when they return to the classroom.
"They should be 100% open and every kid should be back in school."

The study followed Cleveland Clinic caregivers over five months as the vaccination process was beginning. The data showed that the vaccine was extremely effective in preventing COVID-19 infection. A bug expert spoke with Baltimore sister station WBAL-TV about why cicadas have been especially annoying - and when they'll leave for another 17 years.

Women of the Wall (WOW) on Friday morning arrived at the Western Wall to hold a prayer session in honor of the start of the new month of Tamuz, together with "Rabbi" Sergio Bergman, President of the World Union for Progressive Judaism (WUPJ).

US Secretary of State Antony Blinken said Tuesday that “hundreds” of US sanctions will remain on Iran even if the United States rejoins the 2015 nuclear accord.
President Joe Biden’s administration has been engaged in indirect talks with Iran about reversing former president Donald Trump’s exit from the accord, formally known as the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA).
“I would anticipate that, even in the event of a return to compliance with the JCPOA, hundreds of sanctions remain in place, including sanctions imposed by the Trump administration,” Blinken told a Senate hearing.

The U.S. trade deficit fell by 8.2 percent in April after reaching a record high the month before, according to data the Department of Commerce released Tuesday.
In April, U.S. exports totaled $205 billion, compared to roughly $274 billion for imports, leaving a difference of $68.9 million.
The agency on Tuesday also revised March data showing that the $74.4 billion trade deficit recorded in March was actually closer to $75 billion.
