A federal support program is providing help for jurisdictions around Maryland, including Baltimore County.
The U.S. Department of Treasury released a breakdown of how much financial help communities can expect from the $350 billion Coronavirus State and Local Fiscal Recovery Funds.
Baltimore County is set to receive $160.7 million. It was among 24 Maryland jurisdictions that was allocated financial support through the program.

IDF attacks terror tunnel and office buildings belonging to Hamas terror group.
The IDF has attacked over 600 terror targets in Gaza since the beginning of the rocket fire, an IDF statement said.
On Wednesday night, IAF fighter planes and aircraft struck dozens of terror targets throughout Gaza.
Among the targets was a terror tunnel belonging to Hamas, part of the Hamas terror group's tunneling project. The tunnel is located beneath a school and near other civilian buildings.

A Jewish man of about 20 years old was stabbed Thursday morning by a Muslim Arab terrorist in the central Israeli city of Lod.
The Jewish man sustained light injuries to his back from the stabbing. He was taken to Assaf Harofeh Medical Center for treatment, conscious and in stable condition.

Pitching another $4.1 trillion in combined spending, President Joe Biden met with congressional leadership Wednesday on ways forward on both the $2.3 trillion green infrastructure and $1.8 trillion American families plans.

More than 17 percent of the stations in Georgia and Virginia were dry Wednesday, according to GasBuddy, and states as far as West Virginia and Kentucky also are running out. Gov. Hogan says Maryland businesses can reopen at 100% capacity this weekend and that kids ages 12-15 will soon be able to get the vaccine.
All businesses in Maryland will be able to open at 100 percent capacity on Saturday, Gov. Larry Hogan announced Wednesday, bringing an end to COVID-19 restrictions that have been in place for more than a year.
"As a direct result of our incredibly fast pace of vaccinations — and because of the subsequent decline in hospitalizations, positivity rate, transmission rate, and case rate," the Republican governor said, "we are lifting all restrictions on all outdoor entertainment, art, sports venues — including all ticketed events — as well as indoor entertainment venues, conventions, and other businesses."

US Secretary of State Antony Blinken spoke on Wednesday night with Palestinian Authority chairman Mahmoud Abbas and condemned the rocket fire from Gaza towards Israel.
