Stocks started off the Thanksgiving-shortened week sharply higher after another drugmaker announced positive results for its coronavirus vaccine.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose more than 300 points, a gain of 1%. The S&P 500 and tech-heavy Nasdaq Composite were up 0.8% and 0.7%, respectively.
European indexes were also rising sharply, with the STOXX Europe 600 rising 0.1% and Germany's DAX climbing 0.6%. The other major indexes, France's CAC-40 and the U.K.'s FTSE 100, were up similar amounts.

Baltimore, MD - Nov. 22, 2020 - WBFF recently reported "Right now a special council is discussing potential changes to Maryland’s Juvenile Justice System, as the debate over how to best handle juvenile offenders continues.
The Juvenile Justice Reform Council was created by the state last year and charged with coming up with policy change recommendations.

U.S. COVID-19 vaccine program head Moncef Slaoui said the first Americans to receive a coronavirus vaccine could get it as soon as Dec. 11, CNN reported on Sunday.

Under the General Studies Coordinator, Dr. Suzanne Cotter’s guidance and coordination, all 6th through 8th graders were invited to enter in the annual President's Education Awards Program. The program honors talented students all over the USA for their achievement and hard work.
