The IDF is mapping out for demolition the homes of the two terrorists who murdered a yeshiva student in the West Bank last week.
Dvir Sorek, a student from the settlement of Ofra, was found Wednesday night stabbed to death by the side of a road near the settlement of Migdal Oz.
IDF soldiers traced his killers to Beit Kahil, a Palestinian town near Hebron, where they resided, and arrested them on Saturday night.
According to Israeli news site Walla, the terrorists’ homes in Beit Kahil are being mapped in anticipation of a demolition order that has yet to be given.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Monday pledged that he would give the order to demolish the homes “soon.”
Sorek’s father, Yoav, said of the IDF operation, “We thank the security forc...

The Kosel. It is the place that many go straight to upon arrival in Eretz Yisroel and the place where they direct the monit (taxi )to wait as they stop by for one final goodbye before returning to chutz l’aretz. It means so much to so many. We come there to pour our hearts out in prayer and thanks. We come there to just “be”. Be with Hashem and be close to the makom hashechina. It has become the nation’s shul, a place where every Jew feels comfortable.
This past Tisha B’av, I viewed many pictures and videos that attested to the above. All different groups of klal Yisroel, often mingling together for davening, song, and dance (on motzei Tisha B’av) were represented at the kosel. And while I am cognizant that there are those...
Mcallen, TX - House Speaker Nancy Pelosi says she sees comprehensive immigration reform not only as Congress’ official work but also as its moral responsibility as she finishes up a tour of Central America.
Pelosi traveled with a congressional delegation to explore the causes of immigration and possible solutions. The group visited Guatemala and El Salvador, along with migrant detention facilities in McAllen, Texas.
The Democratic speaker said Sunday in Texas that she made the trip because she wanted to ensure that the U.S. effectively honors the dignity of the immigrants who enter its borders.
The Trump administration is trying to restrict applications for asylum in the U.S. from Central America by requiring migrants to apply in Guatemala rather than at the U.S. borde...

The public is moving to the Right, but finds itself repeatedly dragged against its will to the Left. It doesn't have to be that way.

A few weeks ago, Lara came to see me about refining her eating and exercise. She hadn’t been feeling quite right for the last few months. Although she needed to lose a few kilo, weight loss wasn’t her issue. She was fairly educated as far as nutrition and exercise was concerned but she was having bouts of constipation, was often times hungry and her cholesterol was creeping up just above 200. As we were talking and I was getting a general idea about her food intake, I asked her about her fiber intake. She, in turn, asked me if all fiber is the same or if there is a difference between the types of fiber found naturally in foods (intact fiber) and fiber that is added into foods such as certain breakfast cereals.
Let’s take a look at what fiber...

Bayer AG is reportedly proposing paying $8 billion to settle more than 18,000 lawsuits in the U.S. that allege its Roundup weed control contains carcinogens.
Sources close to discussions between Bayer and attorneys for the plaintiffs told Bloomberg News that the company has floated sums of anywhere from $6 billion to $8 billion to resolve the lawsuits, while attorneys for the plaintiffs are reportedly demanding at least $10 billion.
The $8 billion proposed by Bayer is reportedly less than some of the company’s investors had expected it to propose, according to Bloomberg, with experts saying that the settlement will likely end up being higher.
“$8 billion would be lower than most analysts are forecasting and many investors fearing,” Baader Helvea analyst Markus Mayer to...
The US State Department has suspended a foreign affairs official assigned to its energy bureau, a department source said on Thursday, a day after his links to a white nationalist group were revealed.
The State Department declined to name the official. The Southern Poverty Law Center, a non-profit civil rights organization best known for tracking US hate groups, identified him as Matthew Gebert.
Gebert did not respond to several attempts by Reuters to reach him.
The SPLC said in a report published on Wednesday that Gebert hosted white nationalists at his home and published white nationalist propaganda online under a pseudonym.
In a May 2018 podcast, Gebert said whites “need a country of our own with nukes and we will take this thing lickety split,” according to SPLC.
