More than 100 bereaved families signed a letter calling on the American president to demand that the PA immediately halt the payments it makes to terrorists and their families.
One of the initiators of the letter is Yossi Tzur, whose son Assaf was murdered in a terrorist attack on bus No. 37 in Haifa in March 2003: "Three of my son's murderers were released in the Shalit deal and receive monthly money from the Palestinian Authority - blood money for the murder of a child. Hundreds of bereaved families see every day how the murderers of their loved ones enjoy a regular salary."

Several Israeli ministers are planning to skip US President Donald Trump's official welcome ceremony at Tel Aviv's Ben Gurion Airport on Monday, after they were told they cannot shake Trump's hand or speak to him.

Israeli Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu spoke during Sunday's cabinet meeting about US President Donald Trump's upcoming visit to Israel.

Saudi Arabia and the United States on Friday blacklisted Hashem Safieddine, a prominent leader of the Lebanese Hezbollah terrorist group, Reuters reported.
The move by both countries came a day before U.S. President Donald Trump travels to Saudi Arabia which is the first stop on his first international trip since taking office in January.
"The Saudi government today designated a leader of Hezbollah, whose name is Hashem Safieddine," Saudi state news agency SPA said. Safieddine's name was posted on the counter terrorism blacklist on the U.S. Treasury Department website, noted Reuters.

Lebanese security forces arrested an Iraqi citizen on suspicion of cooperation with Israel and gathering information for Israel in Iraq and Lebanon, the country's Al-Mayadeen News reported.
According to Israel's Channel 2, the captive admitted to the charges during the interrogation, and will stand trial.
The captive was drafted into service by a branch of Israel's security forces, the report continued. The branch in question deals with foreign affairs, eliminations, and training fighters. He was asked to provide security information on the Lebanese army and Lebanese officials. Among other things, he was asked to enlist others to create a terrorist network.

Following its rabbinic ruling prohibiting synagogues from hiring female clergy, the Orthodox Union is pressuring synagogues which have hired women to fill rabbinic roles to change their titles.

New initiative will have Israel and PA talking for 12-16 months without stopping construction in Judea and Samaria, says report.
US President Donald Trump will soon announce a political initiative that will have Israel and the Palestinian Authority (PA) conducting direct negotiations for a period of 12 to 16 months, according to the London-based Arabic-language daily Al-Hayat, which quoted Western diplomatic sources.
According to the report, Israel will be asked to curtail construction in Judea and Samaria during this time, but not to stop it altogether.
The newspaper cited a source in the PA as saying that during Trump's White House meeting with PA chief Mahmoud Abbas, Abbas had asked him to allow Palestinians freedom of movement, investment and activity in Area C.

The White House is again denying allegations of collusion between President Donald Trump's campaign and Russia after a story from The Washington Post said an investigation has identified a White House official as a "significant person of interest."
Citing people close to the matter, the Post says the adviser under scrutiny is close to the president, though the sources would not specifically identify the official. The sources also say the investigation is expected to "accelerate" in the coming weeks, but that doesn't mean criminal charges are near or will be coming at all.

A black Texas congressman said Saturday that he’s been threatened with lynching by callers infuriated over him seeking impeachment of President Donald Trump.
U.S. Rep. Al Green held a town hall meeting and played recordings of several threatening voicemails left at his offices in Houston and Washington, the Houston Chronicle reports .
The seven-term Democrat told the crowd of about 100 people that he won’t be deterred.

Soon after they boarded a flight to Honolulu, Mark and Donna Basden found a laptop computer in a seat pocket in front of them.
The couple assumed someone on a previous flight left it there. But a flight attendant said it probably belonged to a man who was in the bathroom.
