Two people were murdered and one was seriously wounded Sunday morning in a terrorist shooting attack near the Tarqumiya Checkpoint in the Hebron area, according to initial reports. First responders are treating the wounded at the scene. The MDA reported that two victims were critically wounded and one seriously wounded, all of whom were treated at the scene. The two critically wounded victims were later declared dead. Security forces reported that the vehicle used by the terrorists was abandoned shortly after the attack. Seyed Hamid Tofigh, 57, a former dentist who stole more than $8.6 million from Maryland medicaid, was sentenced following a probation violation. “People who knowingly break the law over cannot avoid the consequences," said Attorney General Brown. “This former dentist had already put his young patients at risk and was trying to return to practicing dentistry again without a license, which would have put the public in danger. Police arrested a suspect in an attack on a group of Jewish students on the grounds of the University of Pittsburgh, U.S. media reported Saturday. Mosby, the former top prosecutor in Baltimore City, was convicted on two counts of federal perjury charges and one federal mortgage fraud charge. She was sentenced to one year of home detention – a decision from Judge Lydia Kay Griggsby that was a departure from the sentencing request from prosecutors, who sought incarceration time. Mosby will be allowed to travel to California from Sept. 29 through Oct. 6 for a prospective job, according to a recent ruling from Judge Griggsby.
