Baltimore, MD – June 12, 2019 - It is with sadness that BaltimoreJewishLife.com informs the community of the petirah of Reb Velvel Pasternak, Z’L, husband of Goldie Pasternak, father of Shira Pasternak Be'eri, Rabbi Mayer Pasternak, Naava Swirsky, Atara Greenberg and Rabbi Gedalia Pasternak.
The kevurah took place in Beit Shemesh, Israel at Eretz HaChaim Cemetery on Wednesday, June 12.
Shiva will be observed in Israel through Thursday evening, June 13 at Nachal Shimshon 17/2, in Ramat Beit Shemesh.
Shiva will continue at the Pasternak residence 29 Derby Ave, Cedarhurst, NY from Friday morning, June 14 until Tuesday morning, June 18
Shira will be sitting in Jerusalem on Friday (Rabbenu Politi 8/3 in Arnona) and will then be joining the family in New York from Sunday on.
