Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stated at the start of the cabinet meeting on Sunday night that there is and will be no change in the status quo regarding the Temple Mount. His office said in a statement that "the Prime Minister repeated his directive that the ministers of the government not go up to the Temple Mount without his prior approval through his military secretary." Last month, National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir visited the Temple Mount together with Minister Yitzhak Wasserlauf, on the occasion of the fast of Tisha B’Av. On Sunday morning, MK Yitzhak Kroizer, also a member of Otzma Yehudit, ascended the Temple Mount. "We pray for the success of our soldiers in the north, in Judea and Samaria and in the Gaza Strip in the face of our enemy in all place...
A woman and her husband were assaulted in Germany for wearing a t-shirt supporting the Israeli hostages held by the Hamas terrorist organization, the Jewish News Syndicate reported. The attack occurred last Monday in the city of Heidelberg. The victim was wearing a shirt that stated 'Bring them home now,' a phrase popularized in connection with the 250 people who were abducted by Hamas and other terrorists from southern Israel on October 7 and the calls for their release from captivity. The attacker grabbed the woman's shirt and demanded she remove it, lightly injuring her. He then repeatedly struck the woman's husband when he tried to help his wife, knocking out one of his teeth. The attacker later posted about the attack he committed on social media. The ...

Baltimore, MD - Sept. 1, 2024  - As the month of Elul and the Yomim Noraim quickly approach, now is the perfect time to reevaluate. With internet devices and their distractions being ever-present in our lives, what better way to enhance our spiritual lives and reconnect with what’s important than to make a Kabolah, a pledge to limit our online interactions? Small, measurable, and attainable goals can make a significant impact. Consider committing to one or more of the following through Yom Kippur: Strengthening your filter settings Removing an app you frequently use Turning off your phone during dinner Putting your phone aside during in-person interactions Designating a specific room in your home for online activities Leaving your...

"I was disgusted at the Democratic National Convention. Absolutely disgusted." Dershowitz specifically criticized US Reps. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Elizabeth Warren, Bernie Sanders, all of whom he criticized as "anti-Israel." He also criticized Rev. Al Sharpton, who in the past has been accused of antisemitism. Along with the objections to the speakers, he denounced the convention's tolerance of anti-Israel protesters on the streets outside. "That's not my party," Dersho...
