Hamas political bureau chief Ismail Haniyeh was killed by an explosion device that detonated in his room and not by a missile as previously believed, the New York Times reported on Thursday citing seven Middle Eastern officials, including two Iranians, and an American official. According to the report, the bomb was planted approximately two months ago in the guesthouse, which is managed and protected by the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps and is part of a large compound, known as Neshat, in northern Tehran. According to IRGC officials, the explosion shook the building, shattered some windows, and caused the partial collapse of an exterior wall. Russia may be preparing to free between 20 and 30 political prisoners and journalists in an imminent exchange with the United States and Germany, a source familiar with the planning said, in what, if confirmed, would be the largest swap since the end of the Cold War. Previous reporting by independent Russian media suggested that up to 10 high-profile political prisoners were being readied for the rumored exchange. “I know of more people than those who have already been mentioned publicly,” the source told Politika.Kozlov. “My estimate is that Moscow will extradite about 20 to 30 people to the West.” The source spoke on condition of anonymity in order to share details about a sensitive diplomatic matter. Speculation has been growing in rece...
The names have no meaning. Forty-two unknown and historically insignificant desert locations. Forty-two sand dunes along our winding journey to the promised land. Who knows where these sandbanks are, and quite frankly, who cares? The sooner we forget about these doomed deserts the better. Each stop on our trail of misery evokes painful memories of a depressing forty-year odyssey. Our national death sentence had already been decided upon and was irrevocable. During those long and dreary years, prophecy was suspended, and Hashem seemed distant. These desert stops possess meaning only for historians and archaeologists. The pit stops of the desert are cursed regions of Jewish history. Astonishingly though, the Torah provides an extensive list of each desert location. Moreover, instead of ju...

Jerusalem, Israel - July 31, 2024  - Major American and British airlines have told passengers that flights to Israel are canceled, Hebrew media reports, amid spiraling tensions with Hamas, Hezbollah and Iran. Delta is said to cancel its flights until August 2, as is British Airways. The reports say United has canceled its flights until August 6. Tens of thousands of Israelis are reportedly estimated to remain stranded in the United States due to the cancellation of flights to Israel. The US State Department raised its travel advisory level to 4, the highest level, on Wednesday after Israel eliminated Hezbollah military chief Fuad Shukr. The State Department stated: "Do Not Travel to Lebanon due to rising tensions between Hezbollah and Israel. If you are in Lebanon, be prepared to shelter in place should the situation deteriorate. The US Embassy strongly encourages US citizens who are already in Southern Lebanon, near the borders with Syria, and/or in refugee settlements to depart. "Since October 8, Hezbollah has conducted attacks against Israel that have escalated in recent weeks, culminating in a July 27 rocket attack on Majdal Shams, a town in the Golan Heights, which killed 12 children. This strike has increased the risk of further escalation between Hizballah and...

Khaled Meshaal, tipped to be the new Hamas leader, became known around the world in 1997 after Israeli agents injected him with poison in a botched assassination attempt on a street outside his office in the Jordanian capital Amman. The hit against a key senior figure of the Palestinian militant group, ordered by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, so enraged Jordan's then-King Hussein that he spoke of hanging the would-be killers and scrapping Jordan's peace treaty with Israel unless the antidote was handed over. Israel did so, and also agreed to free Hamas leader Sheikh Ahmed Yassin, only to assassinate him seven years later in Gaza. For Israelis and Western states, the Iran-backed Hamas, which has directed suicide bombings in Israel and fought frequent wars again...
Lakewood, NJ - July 31, 2024  - Middlesex County Judge Joseph Paone has thrown out the charges against SCHI founder Rabbi Eisemann this morning, just as the prosecution wrapped up their arguments. Explaining his decision, Judge Paone said the prosecution completely failed to show any evidence that Rabbi Eisemann committed the crimes they were alleging. The jury has now been dismissed, meaning the case is effectively over and an appeal is unlikely at this point. See here for a complete history of the decade long saga. There is still a staggering amount of legal fees that must be paid to cover the cost of the trial to date. Please help Rabbi Eisemann so he can fully return to his Avodas Hakodesh with a piece of mind and not be burdened by the nearly $350,000 in outstanding...
One of the bodyguards of Hamas political bureau chief Ismail Haniyeh leaked information to the assassins who eliminated him, Iranian media reported on Wednesday. According to the report, an Israeli-made Spike short-range missile was launched at the leader's bedroom in northern Tehran from within Iranian territory. Sky News Arabia, citing Iranian sources, reported that the Hamas political leader was killed by a missile that was launched from a building near the one where he was staying. Senior Iranian officials told the New York Times earlier in the day that Tehran’s top leadership was "in utter shock," by the dramatic assassination. According to the officials, this assassination also questions Iran's security reputation and its ability to protect its borders against suc...
