US President Joe Biden claimed that the right-wing makeup of Israel's current government is costing the Jewish State international legitimacy.
In an interview on NBC's “Late Night with Seth Meyers” last night (Monday), Biden said, "Israel has had the overwhelming support of the vast majority of nations. If it keeps this up with this incredibly conservative government they have, and [National Security Minister Itamar] Ben-Gvir and others… they’re going to lose support from around the world, and that is not in Israel’s interest."
The US President further implied that Israel's future depends on its acquiescence to his administration's efforts to quickly create a Palestinian state in the aftermath of the Hamas massacre of October 7.

In Shmos 34:1 Hashem tells Moshe to cut out two new tablets similar to the first ones and, “I will write on these tablets “asher shibarta” (that you broke.)” The gemara in Shabbos 87a says from the above posuk we see that Hashem was happy that Moshe broke the luchos. Moshe used a kal vachomer to explain. We know that the Torah forbade a ben nechar from eating the korban Pesach. If this is so for one mitzvah; kal vachomer it is for all of the Torah. All the Yidden became meshumadim with the eigel so of course they don’t deserve the luchos. Hashem agreed with him and sa...

"I don't think the question is where the target is, we will get to him dead or alive. However long it takes we will do it. We are gathering our intelligence, we are doing many things, taking risks and it will happen." Hagari responded.

“Shalom Sivan,There was an important event on Motzaei Shabbat from which we can draw inspiration during these challenging times. Thousands of Jewish youths from all over the world gathered in Times Square in New York City for the Havdalah ceremony following a Shabbat sponsored by the Chabad for Youth organization. Two brothers who were at the Nova Festival and managed to survive recited a chapter of psalms with deep emotion, repeated in unison by the assembled crowd. This was followed by shouts of support for the hostages, whose images were projected on a giant screen. We heard speeches that emphasized how each individual present needed to be an emissary and a leader upon returning home to Toronto, to Texas, or to Tel Aviv.In my eyes, Havdalah itself was the climax of the evening...

The IDF is considering founding a haredi yeshiva at a relatively safe border crossing - possibly on the Israel-Jordan border, Yediot Aharonot reported Monday morning.
The yeshiva would allow haredi soldiers to maintain their religious lifestyle while at the same time serving in the IDF
According to the report, the purpose of the initiative is to allow haredi soldiers to perform security tasks while at the same time continuing regular Torah study.
The report also said that the IAF has advanced a project to set up a command center where those serving in technical and administrative jobs can serve, with the goal of ensuring the usability of aircraft parked at a protected space at the Ramat David base. The command center would be staffed only by haredi soldiers. In this case, vari...

Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.) on Sunday pointed to the deaths of his Jewish ancestors during World War II in his push for House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-La.) to put the $95 billion foreign aid package, which includes aid for Ukraine, on the House floor.
Schumer, speaking at a press conference from New York, pushed back on the “isolationist” approach to global conflicts and the death and destruction caused by Nazi dictator Adolf Hitler in World War II.
“There are those in the House — these far-right people — who are isolationists. They said, ‘This is far away, we don’t have to bother,’’” Schumer said Sunday. “That’s what the world said in 1938 with Hitler, and America...

Former President Trump on Monday appealed a judge’s decision ordering him to pay more than $450 million in the New York attorney general’s sprawling civil fraud case against his business empire.
Judge Arthur Engoron’s decision earlier this month marked a stunning legal and financial blow to the former president, barring him from serving in a leadership role in any New York business for three years and ordering independent officials to monitor Trump’s companies.
The decision followed a months-long trial after which the judge determined Trump and top executives for years conspired to alter his net worth to receive tax and insurance benefits.
Trump’s appeal was expected because he and his lawyers have attacked the judge’s ruling as politi...
