On Thursday, June 16th, TA welcomed hundreds of donors, parents and guests to a spectacular Dessert Gala and Concert Under the Stars, featuring Abie Rotenberg and Baruch Levine. The extravagant evening was the culmination of weeks of excitement at TA during the “Hadran Aloch- A Life of Torah” campaign.

The White House has been working on a “road map for normalization” between Israel and Saudi Arabia ahead of President Joe Biden’s visit to the Middle East next month, four US sources briefed on the issue told Barak Ravid of Axios on Wednesday.
The White House last week held a briefing with think tank experts about Biden’s trip to the region and floated the theme of a “road map for normalization” without elaborating, the four sources said.
Officials said during the briefing that there will not be an agreement before Biden's visit, but they are working on it and the President will discuss it with Israeli and Saudi leaders during the trip, the sources added.

Rasheed Morris pleaded guilty to murdering an Israeli man who was visiting Baltimore in 2021 for a family gathering.
He will be sentenced on January 13, 2023.
On Wednesday, in court, Morris pleaded guilty to first-degree murder in the death of then 31-year-old Ephraim Gordon.
Baltimore State's Attorney Marilyn Mosby said Gordon could face life in prison, suspending all but 50 years.
"The priority in this case, like all cases, is to deliver justice on behalf of the victim and their family," Mosby said. "Mr. Gordon visited our city under joyous circumstances only to have his life tragically and violently cut short. As the anniversary of the tragic Surfside collapse approaches, Rabbi Moshe Matz, director of Agudath Israel of Florida, took part in a memorial event with Florida Senators Marco Rubio and Rick Scott. The event was held at The Shul of Bal Harbor and attended by community leaders, and first responders including Hatzalah, who were involved in the response to the collapse, as well as the mayors from the surrounding areas, and members of the Israeli consulate.
The senators thanked the community and the first responders for everything they did during the tragedy. Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter and Saturn have lined up in a rare alignment that won't occur again until 2040, according to AccuWeather.
While it is common to view a couple of planets together at any given time, the alignment of five planets simultaneously is a rare phenomenon which last occurred in 1864 and won't occur again for almost 20 years.
The alignment is best viewed in the early morning around an hour before sunrise and will remain as is until the end of June.
Since June has the earlier sunrises of the year, the best time to see the alignment is before 5 a.m. in the eastern sky.

A siddur designed for people with learning disabilities will soon be available in the UK.
The new United Synagogue edition siddur, the Siddur Lakol (“Siddur for Everyone”), was designed specifically to be used by people with learning disabilities, the UK Jewish News reported.
It was launched at a special event at Gesher School – which describes itself on its website as a school that offers “children who are differently able and learn differently an exemplary and tailored education” – on the first night of Learning Disability Week (June 20 to 26).
UK Chief Rabbi Ephraim Mirvis gifted a signed siddur to which he gave to each of the school’s students who attended the special event.
