Vice President Pence on Sunday celebrated the findings in a letter from the attorney general to Congress sharing the findings of special counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation, calling it “a great day for America.” “Today is a great day for America, President Trump and our entire administration. After two years of investigation, and reckless accusations by many Democrats and members of the media, the Special Counsel has confirmed what President Trump said along; there was no collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia during the 2016 election,” Pence said in a statement. “The Attorney General also confirmed that there was no obstruction of justice. This total vindication of the President of the United States and our campaign should be welcomed by e...

Two Israeli prison personnel were stabbed and wounded Sunday evening in an attack by jailed Hamas terrorists being held in a prison in southern Israel. The attack occurred at the K’tziot prison in the Negev southwest of Beer Sheva, Israel’s largest prison facility. One of the men suffered serious injuries, while a second suffered light injuries. Nine terrorists who were injured in the incident were evacuated to Soroka as well. The jail is used primarily for incarcerating terrorists, including terrorists held under administrative ...
This year’s flu season is not going away quietly. The Centers of Disease Control and Prevention says the percentage of medical visits for flu-like symptoms for the week ending March 16 was at 4.4 percent, above the baseline of 2.2 percent. That is the highest this late in the season since the CDC began tracking such data 20 years ago, according to the Wall Street Journal. Read more at USA Today.
After testifying at the United Nations below the Human Rights Council plenary earlier this week, Joe Truzman, an expert on Palestinian militant groups active on the Gaza border with Israel, maintained that his own story shows the obvious pitfalls—and perhaps dishonest intentions—of the United Nations. Truzman, native of a Portland, Ore., began following and researching militants groups in Gaza since the start of the 2014 Gaza war. Beginning as a hobby, Truzman learned how the militant factions operated in Gaza and about their presence on social media using open source data. Years later, Truzman has expanded his sources (about which he remains tightlipped) and has successfully infiltrated online groups in which Palestinian terrorists discuss their militant activity. When prote...
Some 59 gravesites at a Massachusetts Jewish cemetery were vandalized with swastikas and anti-Semitic words, and some gravestones were toppled over, according to the Fall River Police Department. The FBI has offered to help with the investigation, said police chief Albert Dupere. “They could offer additional detectives or investigators to help with interviews or technical assistance,” he said. “We’re still canvassing the area looking for potential witnesses and video to make sure nothing was missed.” No leads or suspects have been identified, added Dupere. “Something on this scale, I can’t remember seeing something like this before,” he said. “I think it’s awful that this should ever happen anywhere, let alone here in Fall Riv...
In an address at a conference held by the American Jewish Committee’s Transatlantic Institute on Thursday, Austrian Chancellor Sebastian Kurz said, “In today’s political climate, antisemitism and anti-Zionism are often two sides of the same coin.” Speaking on the struggle against antisemitism in Europe and elsewhere, Kurz told the audience, “Europe is definitely a continent of safety, of liberty, and rule of law. To live up to this heritage we must ensure that every member of our society is and also feels safe and free. No one must every feel afraid to walk in the streets of any European country, no matter who they are, where they are from, or what their faith is.” “We owe this assurance to all people in Europe, and especially to the Jewish commu...
Congresswoman Rashida Tlaib (D-MI) has a lot of “firsts” to her credit. She is the first Palestinian Arab elected to the US Congress. She is one of the first two Muslim women to be elected to Congress. And now she is the first member of Congress to make a fraudulent claim about her own grandmother in order to score points against Israel. Appearing on CNN’s “State of the Union with Jake Tapper” on March 17, Tlaib was asked about her claims that “racism” and “Islamophobia” were the real motives behind the widespread criticism of the recent antisemitic remarks by Congresswoman Ilhan Omar (D-MN). Rep. Tlaib responded to Tapper that both she and Omar were “an easier target” because they are “very vocal against human-...
House Majority Leader Rep. Steny Hoyer (D-MD) issued a strong rebuke of Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) and her anti-Semitic remarks in a speech at the AIPAC Policy Conference on Sunday. “I am not Jewish, nor do I do represent a large Jewish constituency. But I have visited Israel fifteen times, and I have seen the courage of its people and their enduring spirit to make their country flourish,” he said. "I stand with Israel, proudly and unapologetically. So when someone accuses American supporters of dual loyalty, I say: accuse me," added Hoyer, hinting at comments by Omar, who appeared to refer to domestic support for Israel as “allegiance to a foreign country”. "Millions of Americans, regardless of race or faith or partisan label, stand with Israel because the...

WASHINGTON (AP) — The Latest on President Donald Trump and the special counsel’s Russia investigation. (all times Eastern time): 7:30 p.m. President Donald Trump says “America is the greatest place on earth.” That was Trump’s only comment as he returned to the White House on Sunday, hours after the Justice Department declared that special counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation found no evidence that Trump’s campaign “conspired or coordinated” with Russia to influence the 2016 presidential election. Mueller also investigated whether Trump sought to obstruct the investigation, but did not provide a definitive answer. Back at the White House, Trump said only: “I just want to tell you that, America is the greatest place on earth,...
Joint Schumer-Pelosi on Attorney General Barr's Summary of the Mueller Report
Now that special counsel Robert Mueller has completed his investigation, it is tempting to breathe a sigh of relief and assume that our long national nightmare is over. Resist the temptation, the assumption is false. We are not close to the end. Not by a long shot. In fact, I believe the last two years, as traumatic as they were, will prove to be the easier part of the nightmare, because Mueller dealt only with whether Donald Trump’s 2016 campaign conspired with Russia to swing the election. Based on what we know so far, especially that no more indictments are coming, it appears that Mueller’s answer is no, there was no collusion or obstruction of justice. If true, this is an enormous vindication for Trump, who insisted all along that he had done nothing wrong...
Baltimore, MD - Mar. 24, 2019 - In the 2nd aliyah of Parshas Shemini, Moshe and Aharon bless Bnei Yisroel that the presence of Hashem should come down into their midst. Aharon blesses the people as well, and he raises his hands for this bracha. This is similar to the raising of Moshe's hands during the war with Amalek, in order to turn our hearts toward Hashem. We recognize that our efforts are not what accomplish; rather, it is Hashem's doing that makes our work come to fruition. Click here to listen

Washington - Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Lindsey Graham says “the cloud hanging over President Trump has been removed” by special counsel Robert Mueller’s report. Graham, a close ally of Trump, also says it is “a bad day for those hoping the Mueller investigation would take President Trump down.” A summary of Mueller’s findings released Sunday says Mueller did not find that the Trump campaign or its associates “conspired or coordinated” with Russia in its efforts to influence the 2016 election. It also says that Mueller did not exonerate President Donald Trump of obstruction of justice or find that he committed a crime. Top House Judiciary Republican Doug Collins said “there is no constitutional crisis.” House Majority ...
WASHINGTON (AP) — The Justice Department said Sunday that special counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation did not find evidence that President Donald Trump’s campaign “conspired or coordinated” with Russia to influence the 2016 presidential election. Mueller also investigated whether Trump obstructed justice but did not come to a definitive answer, Attorney General William Barr said in a letter to Congress summarizing Mueller’s report. The special counsel “does not exonerate” Trump of obstructing justice, Barr said, and his report “sets out evidence on both sides of the question.” After consulting with other Justice Department officials, Barr said he and Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein determined the evidence “is no...
