How true those words are. Always full of poise, dignity and grace- Elinor Cohn was Baltimore Royalty. No matter where you would see her she was always put together, nails done, lipstick set and a radiant smile as she would greet you. There was an inner beauty that emanated from her as well. A pure heart, always there to help, be involved, and give advice and never asking for anything in return.

Baltimore, MD - Sept. 20, 2025 - Beginning Oct. 1, Maryland drivers caught speeding by automated speed monitoring systems will face a new, tiered fine structure.
The change comes with the passage of House Bill 182, signed into law by Governor Wes Moore on May 13, 2025.
Previously, all speed camera violations in Maryland carried a flat $40 civil penalty, regardless of how much a driver exceeded the speed limit.
Under the new law, fines will still be issued as civil citations (not criminal charges and no points on a license), but the amount will now depend on how far over the speed limit a driver is traveling.
Drivers going between 12 and 15 miles per hour over the limit will pay $50. Those speeding by 16 to 19 miles per hour will face a $70 fine. The penalty ...
Qatar is demanding a public apology from Israel for the airstrike in Doha against senior Hamas leaders as a condition for renewing its involvement in mediating between Israel and the Hamas terror group for a ceasefire deal, Channel 12 News reported.
According to the report, the request was conveyed to Jerusalem and also presented to American officials.
Since the beginning of the war in Gaza, Qatar has served as a key mediator between the sides, and the Trump administration believes that without its involvement negotiations will struggle to advance.

A new poll, published by The Telegraph, has revealed a massive disconnect between British Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer and the public, with nearly nine out of 10 Britons opposing his expected decision to recognize a Palestinian state without any conditions.
The poll comes amid reports that Starmer is set to officially recognize a Palestinian state as soon as Sunday.

The House of Representatives adopted a resolution to honor the "life and legacy" of late conservative activist Charlie Kirk on Friday, just over a week after he was shot and killed during a college campus speaking event in Utah.
