A 60 Minutes broadcast on Sunday evening confirmed many of the details behind the beeper and walkie-talkie sabotage attack against Hezbollah: the operation began over a decade ago, with the Mossad initially weaponizing walkie-talkies sold to the Iranian-backed proxy terrorist group.
The beeper and walkie-talkie attack sent Hezbollah reeling and was credited for giving Israel an extra opening for a bombing campaign that brought the Lebanese terrorist group to its knees.
The Jerusalem Post exclusively reported on many of the details revealed in 60 Minutes on December 2. The original plan for the walkie-talkies could have led to not merely wounding over 3,000 Hezbollah operatives, but killing over 15,000, as reported by the Post, or 16,000, per 60 Minutes.

For 444 days, over 50 American diplomats and citizens were held hostage in Iran in 1979-1981. The world held its breath for their safe return. Today, 100 innocent Israelis—men, women, and children—remain hostages in Gaza. They have also now endured 444 days in captivity without basic humanitarian aid, medicine, or visits from the Red Cross. This must end. Bring them home!Today I hosted Farhan al-Qadi, a Muslim Bedouin citizen of Israel who was freed by the IDF four months ago, and Malki Shem Tov, the father of Omer who is still cruelly being held in Hamas captivity. Their shocking stories underscore the urgent need to bring everyone home. This is a moral imperative. #BringThemHome

Jerusalem, Israel - Dec. 23, 2024 - Since I majored in Chemistry and worked in multiple science labs, I was curious to read Rabbi Joel Padowitz and Rabbi Jonathan Sassen's new book, The Science Behind the Mishnah.
The Science Behind the Mishnah provides students and teachers with a resource to understand the natural phenomena that appear in Meseches Berachos, which most teachers are unequipped to provide. Complex scientific information becomes understandable and teachable for both teachers and students alike. The depth and breadth of knowledge are so overwhelming, that I could not read the tremendous amount of information straight through.
The Science Behind the Mishnah contains 32 chapters covering a wide range of scient...
Towson, MD - Dec. 23, 2024 - It’s one of the most joyful times of the year, but also one of the busiest for shopping.
Some shoppers in Towson are hoping to avoid the crowds and some are avoiding the Towson Town Center altogether.
Melissa Paddock, a Towson resident, says, “It’s sad to say but yeah I’ve avoided the mall and I haven’t in the past, but this year I avoided the mall.”
On Sunday afternoon, two people were arrested after a fight at Towson Town Center, interrupting the holiday shopping rush.
“It’s kind of a tradition to shop at Macy’s [...] and I didn’t go because of the possibility of crime,” said Paddock.
As of December 3, Baltimore County Police say they have responded to 492 crimes at Towson Town Cente...

Defense Minister Israel Katz confirms for the first time that Israel was behind the assassination of Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh in Tehran over the summer.
Also at a commemoration event for local security officers, Katz threatens the Houthis in Yemen after the Iran-backed terror group continues to carry out attacks on Israel.
“In these days, when the Houthi terror organization is firing missiles at Israel, I want to convey a clear message to them: We have defeated Hamas, we have defeated Hezbollah, we have blinded the defense systems in Iran, and damaged the [missile] production systems. We have overthrown the Assad regime in Syria, we have dealt heavy blows to the ‘axis of evil,’ and we will also severely strike the Houthi terror organization in Yemen, which remains th...

Baltimore, MD - Dec. 22, 2024 - Maryland is predicting a nearly $3 billion dollar budget shortfall for budget year 2026.
Governor Larry Hogan left office with a $5 billion dollar budget surplus.
"It would be a mistake for the legislature to use its newly expanded budgetary power to return to the old habits of raiding the rainy day fund or recklessly spending down the surplus," he said.
Hogan hoped the state's $3 billion-dollar rainy day fund and $2.5 billion-dollar structural surplus wouldn't go to waste.
Now, some say it has, pointing to a multi-million-dollar downward swing.
"Governor Hogan left the state in good financial shape, actually a surplus. The numbers are getting worse and worse for the state of Maryland, and this has happened on Governor Moore's watch, and ...

What is Yosef’s first statement to Pharaoh? Remember: Yosef was incarcerated for 12 years in an Egyptian jail when suddenly he is taken out of his cell and brought to the palace to interpret Pharaoh’s dreams. Since we would expect that Yosef would try to dazzle the king with his brilliance, it’s astonishing to hear the first words that come out of his mouth: “Not I! God will bring an answer [that will bring] peace to Pharaoh,” that is to say, it’s not me—it’s God. I am only the medium, the messenger. Yosef expresses his faith in a simple and straightforward way. He then succeeds in interpreting Pharaoh’s dreams and is ultimately chosen to oversee the entire Egyptian economy.

An energy crisis in Iran has left its leadership scrambling to find a solution after schools and government institutions across the country were forced to close their doors last week due to widespread power outages that Tehran, in its current state, is ill-equipped to deal with.
After a summer of blackouts, the energy crisis in the Islamic Republic has become exacerbated by harsh winter conditions, and severe cold, snow and air pollution have added to the woes of an energy sector unable to deal with seasonal surges due to years of underinvestment and sanctions.
The New York Times reported on Saturday, however, that one other factor has contributed to the dire state of the country’s energy supplies — a pair of attacks on major gas pipelines back in February...
As mediators in Cairo and Doha continued efforts to reach a ceasefire and hostage release deal between Israel and the Hamas terror group, international reports purported to shed some light on some of the gaps remaining between the two parties.
An Egyptian report on Sunday claimed that Israel is demanding the freeing of 11 Israeli men in the first round of hostage releases, while a report from the BBC the previous evening said that the talks are 90 percent agreed upon, although control of the Philadelphi Corridor along the Gaza-Egypt border remains a sticking point.
Israel has been largely mum on any recent developments in the negotiations being brokered by Egypt and Qatar, with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu saying last week that “that the less we discuss this, the better.&rdquo...
