Jerusalem, Israel - July 16, 2024 - Israeli President Isaac Herzog hosted on Tuesday, 10th of Tammuz, July 16, at Beit Hanasi, in Jerusalem, Israel, a swearing in ceremony for seventeen new judges. Also present were Acting President of the Supreme Court, Judge Uzi Fogelman, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Justice, Yariv Levin, and other Members of Knesset.
The families of the new judges filled the Beit Hanasi main hall, with more children than usual present at official ceremonies. Each new judge was called up individually, made their personal declaration, signed, and posed for an official photo. The official group photo was taken at the end of the ceremony.

US authorities obtained intelligence from a human source in recent weeks on a plot by Iran to try to assassinate Donald Trump, a development that led to the Secret Service increasing security around the former president in recent weeks, multiple people briefed on the matter told CNN. Three people were wounded after shots were fired at an Israeli vehicle at the Ramin intersection near Beit Lid in the northern West Bank on Tuesday morning.
The victims were a 32-year-old man and two teenage boys, aged 15 and 16.
The three were lightly wounded by shattered glass as a result of the shooting and received immediate medical treatment, according to Magen David Adom (MDA). According to Israeli media reports, they were soon transferred for medical treatment at Meir Medical Center in Kfar Saba.
