For the tenth year in a row, millions of people around the globe will join together to spread goodness - putting into practice this simple idea: every person can do a good deed and create positive impact. Jewish Volunteer Connection (JVC) has organized several service projects for Good Deeds Day throughout Baltimore for people of all ages. Projects include assembling food packages for Meals on Wheels, multi-generational playdates at Levindale, home construction with Habitat for Humanity and cleaning up local cemeteries. This same day marks Baltimore’s observance of J-Serve, the international day of Jewish youth service. Teens will be taking part in projects at the JCC and community partner locations.
