Jewish Disability Awareness and Inclusion Month Features Community-Wide Programming

Baltimore, MD - Feb. 1, 2018 - February is Jewish Disability Awareness and Inclusion Month and this year, The Associated: Jewish Community Federation of Baltimore is spearheading a number of learning, advocacy and cultural programs for individuals with disabilities and their families.

These events will be offered through The Associated’s programs and agencies, as well as the Baltimore Jewish Abilities Alliance (BJAA), the Baltimore Jewish community’s network that links individuals with disabilities, and their families, to resources, services, support groups, workshops and clinics and recreational programs. BJAA members include: The Associated, CHAI, Jewish Community Center of Greater Baltimore, Jewish Community Services, The Macks Center for Jewish Education, Lifebridge (VSP) and SHEMESH.
