Sirens sounded on Monday morning in areas of the Golan Heights including Ortal, Alonei HaBashan, Merom Golan and Keshet. The IDF spokesman reported later the sirens in this case were a false alarm.
Sirens also on Sunday evening, when rocket fire from Syria crossed into Israel. That was attributed to spill over from the ongoing civil war in Syria. B’chasdei Hashem there were no injuries or fatalities in any of the incidents.
Meanwhile, in the Gaza border area, residents of border communities have been instructed to remain within 15 seconds of safe rooms as tensions continue in the south. Agricultural fields near the border were declared a ‘closed military zone’ on Sunday evening due to fears of an imminent attack.
