Jerusalem Parade Scheduled For Tuesday, 5th Day Chol Hamoed

The annual Jerusalem Parade is set to take place on Tuesday, the fifth day Chol Hamoed Sukkos in Yerushalayim from 1:00pm to 6:00pm. The event will result in the closure of major streets along the parade route.

The following represent some of the streets in the capital what will be closed to accommodate the parade route: Ben-Tzvi (from Aggripas to Rupin Jct), Rabin Jct., Betzalel, Ben-Yehuda, Shmuel HaNagid, Be’eri, King George, Agron, Hillel, Menashe Ben-Yisrael (Independence Park), King David, and David Remez.

Illegally parked vehicles will be towed. Persons are urged to use public transportation. For details, one may phone Egged information at *2800. There will be parking at Teddy Stadium and a shuttle operating from Sacher Park back to Teddy Stadium from 12:00pm to 3:00pm. The Government Precinct area will be available without fee for those arriving for events from 8:00am to 9:00pm.
