9:27PM IL: A number of rockets were detected as they headed towards southern Israel from Gaza. The headed to the area of Yad Mordechai and Netiv HaAsarah, in the Gaza border community’s region.
According to initial reports, the Iron Dome responded and intercepted at least one rocket, while other may have impacted in southern Israel. More to follow.
9:36PM IL: Sirens sounded twice as it appears numerous rockets were fired in two separate attacks with the second occurring directly following the first.
9:40PM IL: It is now reported the sirens were a false alarm Baruch Hashem, not a real attack but a part of IDF training operations in the area.
