Sukkah In Baltimore Torched Early This Morning; Police & Shomrim Says Incident Isolated Not Anti-Semitic (Photos)

Baltimore, MD – Oct. 3, 2017 - Shomrim of Baltimore responded to a call this morning for a Sukkah that was set on fire. Police are taking this matter seriously. Preliminary investigation of the incident indicates that this is an isolated incident where the home owner knows the perpetrator who suffers from mental health issues. The suspect is currently in the hospital and has spoken to  police.

The family to whom the Sukkah belongs wishes to thank Shomrim, Baltimore City Police, Baltimore City Fire Department and Councilman Yitzy Schleifer for arriving on scene quickly and for handling this sensitive matter in a very professional and courteous manner.
