An Israel Police investigation, based on both intelligence gathering and open mean, led to the detention and arrest of a 20-year-old resident of a Bedouin community in southern Israel. The suspect is suspected of having been on a number 48 bus line three years ago, and that he prevented the driver from continuing his journey while endangering the other passengers. Police asked the court that he remain behind bars without bail pending the outcome of his trial.
Police stress that persons who feel they can use violence as a means to an end will be brought to justice towards protecting innocent citizens against such behavior.
