Maryland State Police say that one person was killed in overnight crash on the southbound lanes of I-83, the Jones Falls Expressway just north of the Baltimore City/County line, near the Old Pimlico Road underpass.
State Police at the Golden Ring barrack report that the single vehicle crash happened just before 1 a.m. on Monday when 2011 Dodge Challenger ran off the road and struck a tree.
Investigators have identified the man killed in the crash as the driver of the car, 26-year-old,Gregory Dowaye Hill Jr. of Randallstown .
State Troopers continue to investigate the cause of the crash.
Two lanes were blocked during the on-scene investigation.
All lanes were reopened just after 5:30 a.m.
