Emergency agencies report an attempted terror attack at the Shar Shechem entrance to the Old City of the capital. There are reports of gunfire as well, possibly security forces responding to the attacker(s).
The preliminary reports from the scene state the attacker, a female, has been neutralized. More to follow.
3:58PM: Zaka reports that the female terrorist was shot dead by border police at the location. B’chasdei Hashem, there are no injuries among intended victims.
