Public Security Minister Gilad Erdan on Tuesday 16 Adar ordered the closure of PA (Palestinian Authority)-run office located in the capital. The closure order was for six months.
According to Erdan, the office was a front, used simply to monitor the sale of land by Arabs to Jews, which is punishable by death in the PA. An employee of the office, Khalil Tafakji, was taken into custody.
Erdan told the media he was not going to tolerate the PA’s plan to undermine Israel’s sovereignty over Yerushalayim.
