Crime Alert - Baltimore County Police Department - Feb. 28 - Vehicle Theft

Baltimore, MD - Feb. 28, 2017:

Dear Community Members,

Between 02/20/17 and 02/25/17, two vehicles were stolen from the McDonogh Township area in Pikesville. The first vehicle was stolen overnight between 2/20/17 and 2/21/17 from Slatehearth Court Owings Mills, MD.  The second vehicle was stolen overnight between 2/24/17 and 2/25/17 from Wellspring Circle Owings Mills, MD.  Both victims reported that they left spare vehicle keys inside the glovebox.  There was no evidence of force used to enter either vehicle.  One of the vehicles was later recovered with the spare key in the ignition.  Please remember to lock your vehicles, remove any valuables and never leave spare or valet keys inside your vehicle.

Please be vigilant of suspicious subjects or vehicles roaming through the neighborhood.  If you notice any suspicious activity, safely get a good description of the subjects or vehicles (including license plates) and immediately contact 911.
