Baltimore, MD - Jan. 10 - This week saw the general assemblies of Maryland, Pennsylvania, and Virginia kick-off their legislative sessions - with Maryland and Virginia returning to work after a long hiatus.

Agudath Israel is in the process of identifying the list of bills that we will be working on in addition to the standard items that relate to private school funding and religious freedom and accommodations.

We will continue our pursuit of adding Maryland to the list of "school choice" states, hoping for it to join it's regional neighbors of Pennsylvania, Virginia, and Washington, D.C. - who have their school choice tax credit and voucher programs already in place.
