Baltimore, MD - Nov. 16, 2025 - The reopening of the federal government means SNAP recipients can now receive their full benefits.
State officials said all regular benefits will hit accounts on Tuesday, Nov. 18.
"Gov. Moore made sure Maryland moved urgently to leave no one behind throughout the Trump Administration shutdown," Maryland Department of Human Services Secretary Rafael López said in a news release. "The governor's decisive actions prevented Maryland families from going hungry while the Trump administration fought to withhold these life-saving benefits."
People who have already received partial benefits from the state will receive the remainder of the funds on Nov. 18, too.
The move comes just days after the state began distributing $62 million in SNAP funds.
