Shomron – May 14, 2025 – A woman in her 30s was critically wounded and a man around 40 seriously injured in a terrorist shooting attack late Wednesday night on Route 446, between the communities of Bruchin and Peduel in Samaria.

At 10:01 p.m., Magen David Adom’s (MDA) 101 emergency dispatch center received a report of gunfire targeting a private vehicle. Paramedics arriving at the scene found the car on the roadside, riddled with bullet holes. Inside were two victims: the female driver, unconscious and suffering from severe gunshot wounds, and a fully conscious male passenger, also shot, who was attempting to stop her bleeding.

“We arrived quickly,” said MDA paramedic Erez Fogel. “The woman was unconscious with critical injuries. The man was trying to help her despite being wounded himself. We treated both and evacuated them to the hospital — she was taken in critical condition with CPR in progress, and he was transported fully conscious and in serious condition.”

Both victims were taken to Beilinson Hospital.

The IDF confirmed that a terrorist opened fire on the Israeli vehicle and stated that two civilians were injured. A security source reported that the vehicle had been targeted with a laser pointer prior to the shooting. Security forces are actively pursuing the terrorist.
