Baltimore, MD – May 12, 2025 – Shortly after October 7th, a young man approached this “random” rabbi on a train.
“Please pray for my cousin Edan Alexander,” he asked. The rabbi agreed, and the “strangers” parted ways.
Rabbi Avner Shapiro shared this request with his class at Mesivta Toras Chaim of Baltimore. Edan has been a focus for their prayers, studies, and deeds since that day.
Today, Edan finally came home, so these amazing boys were asked to update the display. They danced and sang with joy: a brother they loved but hardly knew is finally free — and then they prayed for the return of all the hostages.
