Baltimore, MD - April 28, 2025 - Pikesville High School's former athletic director appeared in court Monday morning to take an Alford plea.
Dazhon Darien was sentenced to four months at the detention center.
Federal agents arrested Darien in January as he appeared in court on the state charges.
The state's case against Darien is based on accusations that he used artificial intelligence to make a hate speech recording of the voice of former Pikesville High School principal Eric Eiswert.
Darien was arrested in April 2024 on multiple state charges that include theft, disturbing the operation of a school, witness retaliation, stalking and intimidation.
Eiswert filed a lawsuit against Darien, the Baltimore County Board of Education and the school district. According to court records obtained on Jan. 9 by 11 News, Eiswert accuses Darien of conspiring with other district employees to spread the recording.
