Jerusalem, Israel - March 19, 2025 - The Jerusalem Municipality has released its updated criteria for Arnona discounts for 2025. Arnona, Israel’s municipal property tax, is paid by the residents of an apartment rather than the property owner. Each year, significant discounts are available for eligible residents, with the most prominent being income-based reductions.

This year’s income-based discount rates have now been published and can be found on Chaim V’Chessed’s website. The table details the maximum income a household may earn to qualify for discounts, taking into account the number of household members. Due to the rise in the cost of living, the maximum income amounts in each category have been raised slightly for 2025.
