Baltimore, MD  - March 3, 2025  - The Maryland Department of Transportation State Highway Administration is set to begin a pavement patching project on US 40 (Pulaski Highway) in eastern Baltimore County starting Monday, March 10, and going through early April.

The work will cover a two-mile stretch between Days Cove Road and the Harford County line at Little Gunpowder Falls.

The project, expected to be completed by early April, will involve weekday single-lane closures in both directions from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., weather permitting.

The $1.6 million project is part of a broader effort to patch and resurface pavements on primary state highways in Baltimore County.

The State Highway Administration emphasized the importance of maintaining safe traffic mobility in work zones. "Drivers need to stay alert, focus on driving, and look for reduced speed limits as well as other traffic pattern changes," said the administration.
