Alon Shvut, Gush Etzion – Nov. 19, 2024 – The family of Rabbi Moshe Taragin, a beloved and regular Parasha contributor to Baltimore Jewish Life (BJL), has called upon the community for heartfelt tefilos for his son, נעם אברהם בן עטרה שלומית, who sustained serious injuries in Lebanon.
According to updates from the family, Noam Avraham was critically wounded and underwent emergency surgery after a piece of shrapnel perforated his lung and shattered his ribs. Baruch Hashem, the immediate threat was addressed during the surgery, and all shrapnel was successfully removed. Additionally, his leg suffered superficial shrapnel wounds.
Noam Avraham remains sedated, with plans to wake him in the coming days, b’ezras Hashem. The road to recovery is expected to be lengthy and painful, and the family has asked Klal Yisrael to increase their tefilos for his refuah sheleima.
As a community, let us rally together to storm the shaarei shamayim with tefilos on behalf of נעם אברהם בן עטרה שלומית, and may Hashem grant him a complete and speedy recovery among all the cholei Yisrael.
