Baltimore, MD – Aug. 18, 2024 - Shearith Israel Congregation, located at the intersection of Park Heights and Glen Avenues under the leadership of Rabbi Yaakov Hopfer, has commenced significant renovations today. The project includes the removal of the traditional benches, to be replaced with new tables and chairs.
This video shows a congregant with a connection to the shul’s history, preparing to take a piece of that cherished legacy.
