Center will receive heating/air conditioning unit upgrades in late summer
Pikesville, MD - Aug. 9, 2024 - The Baltimore County Department of Aging and Baltimore County Public Library announced today that the Pikesville Senior Center and Pikesville Branch of Baltimore County Public Library will temporarily close to facilitate much-needed HVAC upgrades to the facility. These scheduled closures will ensure the safety of residents, visitors, and workers during the facility improvements.
The shared building will be closed on the following dates:
Due to weather or unforeseen construction delays, additional dates may need to be added to this schedule.
During periods when the Pikesville Senior Center and Pikesville Branch of Baltimore County Public Library is closed for facility improvements, senior center members are encouraged to join the Online Programs for Adult Learning (OPAL), a virtual senior center featuring a robust activity schedule. Senior center members are also welcome to attend any of the other 19 senior centers in Baltimore County where they will have to opportunity to take part in the Eating Together program. Members interested in participating in this program are encouraged to contact the center in question as days of operation may vary.
