UAV Explodes In The Golan, 18 Wounded, One IDF Soldier Severely

Several suspicious aerial targets were identified crossing from Lebanon into Israel territory on Sunday afternoon and an explosive UAV fell in the northern Golan Heights.

The IDF updated that one soldier IDF soldier was severely injured and 17 soldiers were lightly injured. The soldiers were evacuated to a hospital to receive medical treatment. Their families have been notified.

Preliminary investigations found that the aerial defense system identified the UAV, but the Iron Dome did not succeed in intercepting it.

During the day, the IAF struck Hezbollah terror targets in southern Lebanon, including a Hezbollah observation post in the area of Markaba and a launcher in the area of Ayta ash Shab from which a projectile was fired today toward northern Israel.

Additionally, IDF Artillery fired to remove threats in multiple areas in southern Lebanon.

Following the sirens that sounded in the area of Beit Hillel in northern Israel, a launch was identified crossing into Israeli territory and falling in an open area.

No injuries or damage were reported in both incidents.

Earlier in the day, three antitank missiles were launched at Metula in the Galilee Panhandle. One landed in Lebanese territory, another struck an orchard west of the village, and a third a residential building. No one was injured.
