Baltimore Gas Prices Rise While National Diesel Prices Fall, GasBuddy Survey Reveals

Baltimore, MD - Mar. 4, 2024  - (FOX45) In Baltimore, the average gas price has increased by 0.8 cents per gallon over the past week, reaching $3.31/gallon today, according to GasBuddy's survey. Compared to a month ago, prices have risen by 12.1 cents per gallon, and compared to a year ago, they're up by 12.6 cents per gallon. Meanwhile, the national average price of diesel has decreased by 2.7 cents per gallon in the last week, now standing at $4.03 per gallon. Yesterday, the cheapest gas station in Baltimore was priced at $2.99/gallon, while the most expensive was $3.97/gallon. In the state, prices ranged from $2.99/gallon to $3.99/gallon. Nationally, the average gas price has risen by 10.0 cents per gallon in the last week, now averaging $3.34/gallon. Compared to a month ago, prices have increased by 22.0 cents per gallon, but they're 3.2 cents per gallon lower than a year ago, according to GasBuddy data.
