Baltimore, MD - January 14, 2024 - In a powerful display of unity and determination, over 200 individuals gathered today at the Chizuk Omunah parking lot for the 'Run for Their Lives' event, demanding the immediate release of hostages held by Hamas. The event coincides with the 100th day since the hostage situation began, and participants are walking together to raise awareness and show solidarity.

“This run is the direct result of a plea by Rachel Goldberg-Polin, hero mother of hostage Hersh Goldberg, who was last seen being dragged off by terrorists with gaping flesh where his arm should be,” said co-organizer, Shani Dinovitz. “It’s intended to raise awareness that this marks the 100th day of hostages being raped, beaten, starved, and tortured in underground cages in Gaza, held captive by the pedophile rapist terror regime of Hamas.”

Many attendees wore red as a symbol of support and held flags, including those of Israel and the USA, along with posters featuring the faces of the hostages.

Chabad set up a Tefilin table at the event, and also offered hot coffee, a welcome addition to   provide warmth and comfort to attendees on the brisk winter morning.

The 'Run for Their Lives' event was organized to draw attention to the ongoing crisis and call for urgent action to bring the hostages home safely. It provided an opportunity for the community to come together, voice their concerns, and demonstrate unwavering support for those affected.
