Baltimore, MD - Jan. 3, 2024 - (PP) Weather forecasters are closely monitoring the potential for a winter storm in the Baltimore area over the upcoming weekend.
AccuWeather predicts that the storm will impact the Baltimore region, and the extent of its impact will depend on the storm's track and strength.
There is a possibility of accumulating snowfall in parts of Maryland, particularly along and northwest of I-95. Carroll County and Frederick County have a higher potential for accumulations over 5 inches of snow, while closer to Baltimore, snow totals may be lower.
The Eastern Shore may see some snow on Shabbos afternoon, but it is expected to quickly change to rain and remain as rain for the rest of the storm.
The Capital Weather Gang predicts a combination of rain, snow, and possibly sleet on Shabbos. Precipitation should end by Sunday morning, leading to partly to mostly cloudy skies with breezy conditions and highs in the 40s.

Shabbos: Snow likely before 1 pm, then rain and snow with a high near 38.
Motzaei Shabbos: Rain, mainly before 1 am, with a low around 32.
Sunday: Partly sunny with a high near 42.
Sunday night: Partly cloudy with a low around 30.
Monday: Mostly sunny with a high near 43.
